Geoff Oxnam
Founder & CEO
Geoff Oxnam is a microgrid project developer and former utility executive with more than two decades of experience in energy, utilities, telecommunications and infrastructure. Geoff earned a BA in History from Williams College (Williamstown, Mass.) and an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School (Baltimore, Md.). Geoff served as Chair of the Maryland Clean Energy Center board of directors on appointment by Maryland Governor Larry Hogan.
Nate Mills
Vice President of Operations
Nate is a program management and leadership expert with more than two decades of experience leading technically complex engineering efforts from design through construction. A former Navy officer, he directed procurement and construction of submarines and their supporting systems and held roles overseeing ship maintenance, repair, and contract management. Nate holds a Naval Engineer's degree and an SM in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MS in Earth and Planetary Sciences from the University of New Mexico, and a BS in Geology from Cornell University.
Connor Sheehan
Vice President of Sales
Connor is the Vice President of Sales at American Microgrid Solutions, leading business development and client engagement. He develops business strategies, cultivates long-term partnerships, and helps clients navigate complex and impactful decisions, translating technical solutions into lasting value. With his unique background as a decorated Air Force logistics officer with project management experience leading diverse and international groups, Connor heads the team serving as the owner’s representative, ensuring that project designs, financing structures, and delivery strategies align with customer objectives. Connor earned a BA in History of Science from Harvard University, where he also won three championships as a collegiate athlete.
Annie Wilson
Account Executive
Annie is a Account Executive coming straight from active duty as a naval nuclear submarine officer. As a former Navy officer, Annie has several years of experience with personnel and project management. Annie not only holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Nuclear Power from Virginia Military Institute but multiple state records for Powerlifting.
Erik Meyerhoffer
Technical Project Manager
Erik is a Project Manager with seven years of experience in the solar PV and battery storage industry. As a NABCEP PVIP-certified licensed electrician, Erik has managed every aspect of residential and C&I solar PV and storage projects from design, engineering and estimating, through project management, installation and commissioning. Erik holds an MS in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Denver, with a focus in Energy and Sustainability.
Kevin Schneider
Technical Project Manager
Kevin is a Project Manager with over 15 years of experience in solar, battery storage, and electrification. He specializes in leading complex projects from planning through completion, coordinating with technical teams, clients, and stakeholders. Kevin holds a BA in Environmental Policy and Planning from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and is known for his calm, solutions-focused leadership, collaborative mindset, and dedication to sustainability-driven outcomes.
Caleb Bennett
Program Manager
Caleb is a Program Manager with 10 years of experience in project management, as well as 11 years in sales leadership, enablement, and operations. He has been in the solar industry for 8 years and has developed a dynamic skill set that comes from his experiences living in several regions of the U.S. Born and raised in Iowa, he ventured out and started his renewable energy career in CA. Caleb earned a Bachelor of Science from Bellevue University.
Terry Ratliff
Project Analyst
Terry Ratliff is a Project Analyst and former Navy Nuclear Operator, with expertise in electrical operations and power reliability. Now with AMS, he applies his project management and trend analysis skills to creating microgrids. In his free time, he enjoys reading fantasy books and playing Dungeons and Dragons.
Seth Jones
Project Analyst
Seth is a Project Analyst passionate about engineering innovation and sustainability. A Webb Institute graduate, he spent five years as a Naval Architect at Newport News Shipbuilding, contributing to nuclear ship design and leading efforts on a synthetic fuel ship concept. Now at AMS, Seth leverages his skills to evaluate and implement renewable energy systems.
Mashawna Kohler
Project Analyst
Mashawna is a Project Analyst and former U.S. Army Engineer Officer with six years of experience both leading horizontal and combat engineers in executing mobility, counter-mobility, and survivability operations and supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on civil works and emergency response projects. Mashawna holds a B.S. in Natural Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh and PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute.
Madison Comey
Executive Assistant
Madison is an Executive Assistant with a passion for community outreach and sustainable innovation. Originally from Alexandria, VA, she is excited to support the mission of American Microgrid Solutions and see the real-world impact of microgrid technology. Madison holds an associate degree in psychology and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing at George Mason University where she is a member of the swim and golf clubs. With six years of experience in customer service, Madison brings organizational and analytical skills to help optimize processes and support AMS success.
Paul Hanrahan
Advisor
CEO of Globeleq, Paul has more than 30 years of experience in power industries across the world. Prior to Globeleq, he founded and subsequently sold American Capital Energy & Infrastructure, a private equity group focused on global investments in energy infrastructure investments. From 2002-2011, Paul served as the CEO of The AES Corporation, a 30,000-person global power company with assets in 30 countries. Paul is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Prior to beginning his business career, he served as a line officer on a fast-attack nuclear submarine in the US Navy. Paul currently sits on the boards of two publicly traded companies: Ingredion, Inc. (NYSE: INGR) and AquaVenture Holdings, Ltd. (NYSE: WAAS)
